Need a little something sweet for dessert that you can feel good about?

Sweet potatoes are a nutritional all-star-loaded with carotenoids, vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. Mix in unsweetened applesauce or crushed pineapple for extra moisture and sweetness. Try sprinkling with cinnamon.

Love sorbet?  Try freezing 4 cups of your favorite berries (antioxidant powerhouse) or melon chunks, then combining them with a half cup of unsweetened orange juice in a blender or food processor until smooth.  Can be refrozen.

Bonus points for being kid friendly, gluten free and paleo friendly.  Winking here.
